I’ve worked with beautiful model Tawnee three times now and had a blast with each photoshoot. Her lovely naturally red curls steal the show, and this time she brought a stunning formal gown that proved once and for all redheads can indeed rock red clothes, case closed. Boise model Carli was so much fun to work with last October! We hit the Boise River during peak fall foliage for a colorful and seasonal photoshoot lit solely by natural light and a giant reflector, and I love the results. Take a look at some favorites below!
Live in Boise for a while and you’ll probably become familiar with the controversy surrounding the unpaved, no-bikes-allowed section of the Greenbelt west of Glenwood. Regardless of how you feel about the issue, though, one thing’s for sure: the lack of bike traffic for the time being (and most foot traffic, for that matter!) makes it a stellar hidden gem of a location for photoshoots! Beautiful model Nicolette and I hit the path last spring for a lovely sunlit evening session with glimmering trees, rustic fences, the rushing river, and of course this gorgeous girl and her perfect outfits. It’s not often I get to do conceptual portraits with a real story behind them, so when Boise models Giovanna and James approached me about working on a costumed post-apocalyptic photoshoot complete with gas masks, I jumped at the chance.
