Little McCall on the shores of gorgeous Payette Lake is a pretty sight at any time of year, but the spring runoff makes it particularly magical. Here are a few favorite shots around the lake from last May, as well as a few others en route. Enjoy!

 Nearby Boulder Lake was still snow-covered in mid-May, but I got a chance to look around partially-drained Boulder Meadows Reservoir instead – a ghostly sight with the field of tree stumps sticking out!
