Pride & Prejudice: The Production

Considering it took the BBC five hours to cover this British classic of mistaken first impressions, Knock ‘Em Dead Dinner Theatre’s tackling Jane Austen’s Pride & Prejudice in just about two and a half hours is no small feat!  Earlier this year, I brought you the production poster for the play; today you get to see photos from the performance itself.  Sadly, the show has finished its run by now, but for more lively local productions, you can always check out Knock ‘Em Dead’s web site.  (Want more production photos?  Check out the Facebook gallery!)

Taming of the Shrew: the actor head shots

Let’s take a break from the wild colors of HDR landscapes for some more traditional photography: black and white portraits.  I took these head shots of some of Knock ‘Em Dead Dinner Theatre’s actors involved in a production of The Taming of the Shrew in 2011, and recently revisited the original portraits to see how I could re-edit them for a classic black and white look.  Enjoy, and never fear, we’ll be back in HDR-world in no time.

Remember last year’s poster and publicity photos for Boise-based Knock ‘Em Dead Dinner Theatre’s production of The Taming of the Shrew?  Well, Knock ‘Em Dead is back, this time with a stellar production of Jane Austen’s Pride & Prejudice.  While I don’t have any photos from the production this time, check out the poster design below.  The show runs now through February 18, so if you’re in the Boise area, be sure to grab a ticket at www.kedproductions.org!
